She's been out there for 20 years, and what we're hearing from the services, they plan on using this aircraft through 2055 or later. It's a great aircraft. Nothing else can do what a V-22 does.
She's been out there for 20 years, and what we're hearing from the services, they plan on using this aircraft through 2055 or later. It's a great aircraft. Nothing else can do what a V-22 does. It's appropriate from a lifecycle management perspective to reset the core characteristics of the aircraft. It's appropriate to do this in the middle of a lifecycle so that you take out some of that burden, take out some of that cost, so it's easier to make the aircraft fly. It's the right time for that investment.
