MV-75 : Transformer l’aviation de l’Armée

L’armée américaine a choisi le V-280 de Bell pour son programme Future Long Range Assault Aircraft et l’a officiellement baptisé MV-75. Le « MV » fait référence au décollage vertical multi-missions (Multi-Mission Vertical Takeoff) et le chiffre « 75 » honore leur année de naissance, 1775. En décembre 2022, l’armée américaine a sélectionné le Bell V-280 pour représenter le programme FLRAA, modernisant ainsi l’aviation de l’armée pour les décennies à venir. Bell est prêt à doter nos soldats de la vitesse et de la portée nécessaires pour concourir et gagner sur un champ de bataille en constante évolution.

The MV-75 designation is hugely important. What does it mean though? The M and the V, multi-mission vertical lift. This is not just an aerosol platform, and we've talked about aerosol medevac, special operations, but when you look across the joint force at what this kind of capability can provide when you've got the speed range and the open systems approach, it is multi-mission. And our ability, especially with the open systems digital backbone, to be able to execute different missions with different mission systems, both from a hardware and software side, is gonna be huge. And the 75 is special this year is the 250th birthday for the Army, so 1775. Here we are in 2025 with the MV-75 special.
